How to Be Untouchable: Politics Edition
“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.” — Abraham Lincoln
You posted a political meme?
HOW DARE YOU!
You should be in JAIL.
Your whole life could end over a joke.
Celebrities could lose their jobs in the same manner, probably.
But what about politicians?
They can’t get canceled.
They’re cancel-proof.

The incognito man is here to expose the dirty world of politics.
One daddy’s enough, they said.
Looks like it’s not.
Oh man, I miss Stoltenberg.
DOUBLE STANDARDS
The public views these two differently.
Celebrities vs. Politicians.
Both may be public, but they don’t get the same treatment.
Sleep with 1000 men, and you’ll get validation or hate on the internet, but definitely dozens of reactions.
Become a convicted felon, and people will vote for you to lead their country.
When you can’t even rule your own life and family.
Celebrities who got cancelled:
Kanye West
Lost brand deals (Adidas, Balenciaga, Def Jam) after antisemitic comments.
Immediate public and corporate backlash.
His career ended overnight.
Doja Cat
Faced backlash over old chatroom activity and racist jokes.
Had to publicly apologize and rebuild her image.
Kevin Hart
Lost Oscars hosting gig over resurfaced homophobic tweets.
Apologized multiple times but still faced career hits.
Will Smith
One slap = Oscars ban for 10 years.
Public image took a nosedive despite apology.
Politicians who didn’t get cancelled but should’ve:
Donald Trump
"Grab ‘em by the p——" tape, multiple sexual assault allegations, inciting the Jan 6 insurrection.
Still ran for re-election. Still a political force.
Boris Johnson
Partygate: hosted parties during COVID lockdowns. Lied about it.
Still held office for a while, eventually resigned but not “cancelled” in the celeb sense.
Bill Clinton
Monica Lewinsky scandal + perjury.
Impeached, but finished term, still celebrated by many.
Vladimir Putin
Navalny case, Ukraine invasion, suppression of dissent.
No “cancel culture” in sight. Power intact.
Celebrities lose deals and sponsorships.
Their career ends in one night.
Look up to Bella Hadid.
Palestine supporting costed her to lose millions of money.
But a politician in power can kill people, give orders to get them killed or tortured, and still not be cancelled.
If you’re rich enough, anything is possible and cancel-free.
Even owning an Epstein island will not get you into jail.
Media plays the biggest role here.
To see or not to see, this is the game.
CNN is the biggest media corporation in the USA and even the world.
When Biden was in power, the media barely held him accountable; they didn’t even show him falling off plane stairs, oh no. Pro-Biden media spent more time bashing Trump than showing Biden’s face. Now Trump’s back, and they’ve switched the game.
What game? Distraction, not accountability.
Trump owes his election to Fox News, which is founded by Rupert Murdoch.
An efficient example of propaganda and how to dumbificate people.
History repeats itself.
People fall for the same old lie.
He’s a Christian and conservative, and he’s pro-our country.
It’ll save us.
Oh, honey, really?
Did we not see enough examples of this already?
People vote for presidents as if they’re on Tinder, looking for a mate to sleep with.
“He’s a patriot. He believes in Jesus. He’ll protect our nation.“
Keep on dreaming, bud. No one is here to save you.
Share this with those who are waiting for heroes!
CANCEL CULTURE
Cancelled!
I’d like to dream, but in the world of politics there’s no cancellation.
Only a while ago, Russia shot down an Azerbaijani plane and blamed it on “technical issues.“
And Putin “apologized.”
When was the last time you saw a leader apologize for the crimes they committed?
Yeah, me too.
Because they don’t apologize.
Why should I care if I can’t change anything? -
Yes, you can.
If we don’t write, talk, create awareness, and ask for our rights, then who will?
Do you want to go back to the times when your grandpa was drafted for war? And didn’t even come back?
Or your grandma raising 5 kids alone.
Because I don’t.
We can’t stop the game, but we can change the consequences, the outcome.
Don’t be shy, call them out.
Subscribe for more shout-outs like these.
LET’S CHANGE THE GAME
But how?
By not supporting them.
If you still vote for someone thinking “there’s no better candidate,“ then you’re partly at fault.
So you’d rather pick arsenic over cyanide? They’ll both kill you at the end.
Arsenic—classic, silent, and deadly. Tasteless, odorless, builds up slowly.
Cyanide—fast, brutal, instant shutdown of your system.
Endnotes
If they can’t get canceled, then we’ll pick another one.
If this hit something in you, I’m glad you feel seen. If it opened your eyes — welcome. You’re not alone.
See you on the next episode of MPG. Until then, stay curious.

Wel written. As far as Trump goes, they grab em by the _____" turned me so off on him, before he started openly declaring he was racist by calling on the proud boys. It gets worse. Here in the states, some of our celebrities can be just as dangerous as Trump. Now we have Trump not wanting to release the Epstein files. Very disturbing that the man in charge of our country is protecting the privacy of a pedophile. Scary
History does repeat itself, over and over. And people have short memories. And yes, the best thing is not to give any of these charlatans a platform, nor any attention. Unfortunately, when we have to contend with media giants and people who are too busy and distracted to take notice of much else, it is a challenge to try to turn attitudes around.
